Oklahoma State had their highest-picked player since 2016 when Teven Jenkins was the 39th pick going to the Chicago Bears.
Chicago traded up for Jenkins to have someone to protect their first-round pick, quarterback Justin Fields. Jenkins was a staple of the Oklahoma State Offensive live after redshirting his first year. After playing virtually everywhere on the line because of injuries throughout the years, Jenkins should be ready for wherever the Bears decide to use him.
It's been a heck of ride for @TevenJenkins. The @ChicagoBears are getting an elite-level talent!#LetsRide | #GoPokes pic.twitter.com/FHmbgDsMVM

Jenkins was First-Team all-conference in 2020 even after forgoing most of the season to prep for the draft after dealing with injuries. He came back to have a good showing a Pro Day where he posted a 4.96 in the 40-yard dash, a 7.72 in the L-drill, a 4.66 in the 20-yard shuttle and a 32.5 inch vertical leap. {okstate.com}
This is the first O-Lineman Oklahoma State has had drafted since 2010 when Russell Okung went No.6.
