On Tuesday afternoon, defensive tackle Cameron Murray announced that he will forego his senior season to enter the draft.
Starting in every game for the Cowboys, Murray accounted for 22 tackles in 2020 with nine of those being solo tackles. He had three sacks this past season totaling 19 yards as well. He was the recipient of the Barry Sanders Award for the 2019 season. This award is given to the players by the coaches for the player that has made the biggest contribution with the least recognition.
“I want to thank my coaches, academic staff and teammates for making me the man I am today,” Murray said. “I also want to thank my family for always supporting me, no matter the circumstances.”

Murray becomes the fifth player for the Oklahoma State defense to declare for this year’s draft.
We wish Cameron the best of luck in his career moving forward.
