Jones had offers from Northwestern, Tulane, SMU, and Tennessee. His commitment brings the class of 2022 to 10 commitments.
He is the second cornerback in this class following Cameron Epps. But it is possible that someone like Jones could play in multiple spots in the backfield before his time as a Cowboy is done. This weekend's spring game was Jones’s first time physically on campus. Though he has taken a few virtual visits.
