The No. 7-ranked Oklahoma State football team has three active COVID-19 cases, the athletic department announced Monday.
The Cowboys (3-0, 2-0 Big 12) had two active cases last week after having two straight weeks without one. OSU had a bye this past week and will be off again this coming weekend after OSU’s game at Baylor was postponed to Dec. 12 because of “significant increase in positive COVID-19 cases” among the Bears football program.
The Cowgirls soccer team has zero active cases for a third consecutive week. OSU (3-1-1) was handed its first loss of the season with a 2-1 defeat in overtime to TCU last Friday in Stillwater, the Cowgirls’ first home loss in 13 games (12-0-1). The Cowgirls play Friday at Kansas.
OSU has two other active case among non-fall sports.
In total, OSU has reported 124 positive tests since testing began June 1.
