Oklahoma State moved to 14-6 overall and 7-6 in conference play as the Cowboys beat the Cyclones 76-58 in GIA Tuesday afternoon.

Kalib Boone had a personal vendetta against the rim as he accounted for 8 dunks and would finish the game with 15 points, an assist, and five rebounds. The rim would keep getting punished today as Matthew Alexander Moncrieff and Avery Anderson also scored off of dunks.

To put things into perspective, the previous single-game dunk record was 5. Kalib Boone had that in the first half.

While the norm has been for Cade Cunningham to be sluggish in the first half then turn up the effort in the second half, that was not the case today. as he had 15 points and 4 assists by the end of the first half.

In addition to that Cunningham set the tone of the game defensively. Leading to some recognition from Coach Boynton at the end of the game.

Matthew Alexander- Moncrieff also quietly had himself a game with 19 points and going a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line. Rondel Walker also finished with double digits in point finishing with 10. He filled in starting after Issac Likekele went down with a foot injury.

Next up on the agenda, the Cowboys will get almost a full week off after their game that was set against Baylor in Waco for this upcoming Saturday has been postponed. They’ll play Tech on Mon Feb.22 at 8 p.m. on GIA.
