College Baseball Bracketology: Regional Projections May 27th

Regional projections for conference championship week.

For the first time in a while, I have a change at the top. After LSU's thrilling win over Florida last night and after the Tigers series win last weekend I have bumped the Gators from the top spot. Taking the top spot is the Miami Hurricanes who have been a consistent No. 2 overall seed all year and will slide up nicley.

I've said it all year, the west coast is a mess. There is only one Western team in the RPI top 20 so I decided to creative with the hosting situation. Since Florida Atlantic did not submit a bid to host I sent to Tuscon as the No. 1 seed with Arizona hosting as No. 2. It's been widely believed that the committee will select two teams from this region, but I just don't see it.

As for OSU, they will need to win the Big 12 tournament and even then hosting will be a stretch. If the Cowboys knock off TCU and Texas Tech they could be considered a  possibility as a "Western" host.

As always, feel me free to email me at maxwell.gross@okstate.edu if you have any questions, gripes or if you want my opinion on your team's postseason resume.
